2019 - What a year! - Fiona Garrivan

With the start of a new year and a new decade, I have been reflecting on all the amazing couples I met over the last 12 months but also the last 10 years. 2020 marks my 10th year as a celebrant. 10 incredible years. (How did that happen??)

The last 10 years have been full of life, love and precious moments all of which I hold very dear to my heart and will always feel privileged to have shared in.

What a ride 2019 has been. There have been so many amazing couples, wonderful destinations, special elopements and emotions. 2019 has seen me on top of mountains, at the bottom of waterfalls, on beaches, in forests, in gardens, private homes, back yards, & wedding venues. Couples are choosing to have the wedding day they want and not the one that tradition suggests they have. No matter where the location, the sentiment has always been the same – meaningful and incredibly special.

I am so excited for all the weddings I will be involved in this year – already it’s shaping up to be a pretty amazing one.
