Tegan & Dan decided they want to do something a little different to celebrate their wedding, so a Food Truck wedding was the perfect solution. They wanted to focus on a celebration with their family & friends with great food and good booze. And most importantly an atmosphere that allowed everyone to relax and party the night away with them. With the help of Here Comes the Truck, they organised one great big wedding party with a pizza food truck providing the catering.
Tegan & Dan choose Christmas Hills Mechanics Hills for the perfect venue for their wedding. Christmas Hills Hall offers a blank canvas to create an atmospheric reception space with plenty of room for dancing. But it also offers a stunning backdrop for the ceremony, with views over the Yarra Valley.
Tegan & Dan met through some mutual friends. They have travelled the world together and they share a love of their much loved cat “Toby”.
We celebrated everything about them in their heartful and fun ceremony.
Tegan walked down the aisle accompanied by her dad to the sound of “You’re my best friend, by the Once”. During the signing her sister, Hannah sang. they danced up the aisle with the sounds of “The way you make me feel” echoing across the Yarra Valley.
The decided to have an unplugged wedding, leaving the talented duo of Matthew & Lexie to do their things and guest s could sit back and relax and enjoy the moment.
Their mums came forward to present the rings and share hugs with their children
This wonderful food truck wedding created a talking point among Tegan & Dan’s guests and of course provided some fantastic food.
This wedding had it all and had all the makings of a memorable celebration.
