Kate and Alex met 3 years ago at the Richmond club and recently they became husband and wife at the beautiful Zonzo’s restaurant at Train Trak Winery. This stunning venue, in the Yarra Valley, really impressed their guests, many of whom traveled from New Zealand to share the occasion with this well regarded and loved couple.
Looking at the pictures from Mark Dayman Photography, of this beautiful wedding I cannot help but smile with the memories of Kate and Alex’s wonderful wedding and their stunning and effortless style.
From the first time I met Kate & Alex, I felt like I had known them for a very long time. They are both so relaxed, warm and welcoming. Their love & respect for each other is heartwarming and I loved every minute of planning their special ceremony.
Kate was a stunning bride who chose a beautiful wedding dress with a classic veil.
The arrival of the bride is always a highly anticipated moment and the excitement could be felt building while Alex mingled and welcomed guests. There was a great buzz of excitement from the guests when they caught a glimpse of the bridal car coming up the driveway.
Kate made her way down the aisle to the beautiful instrumental version of Christina Perris “Thousand years” building that excitement and emotion even further. Alex stood at the top of the aisle filled with pride as he watched Kate walk towards him on the arm of her very proud and emotional father.
The ceremony was filled with sincerity and truly captured the love & emotion that Kate & Alex feel for each other.
They acknowledged the love & support their parents had given them over the years. Kate & Alex exchanged love letters in a Love Letter & Wine Box ceremony with their personally penned letters as a reminder of the emotions they were feeling on this very special day.
I love the backdrop from the historic barn at this venue and how it lends itself to frame the surrounding landscape.
With a relaxed atmosphere and without any sign of nerves, Kate & Alex exchanged their vows in front of family & friends
Finally when I announced that they could seal their vows with a kiss, the guests reacted with great joy and enthusiasm.
Kate & Alex left the ceremony beaming with happiness to finally be husband and wife.
After the ceremony Kate & Alex along with their bridal party headed off to capture some special moments with their photographer Mark Dayman
Before rejoining their family and friends for an evening of celebration and fun.
Thank you Kate & Alex for allowing me to be part of your special day and for inviting me into your lives. Wishing you all of the love and happiness that you deserve.
