15 Years as a Celebrant

On 5th March 2025, I celebrated 15 years as a celebrant! It’s hard to believe I’ve had the privilege of doing this work for so long.
I’ve never counted how many ceremonies I’ve conducted—because for me, it’s never been about the numbers.
Every wedding, every couple, every family is unique. My hope is that each person I’ve worked with has felt the same energy, care, and love I brought to my very first ceremony—only now with 15 years of experience to guide me.
A lot has changed since I started.
Being a celebrant is more popular now -  when I began, there weren’t many people my age in this role.
Wedding trends have come and gone, and social media has transformed the way we share these moments. But for me, this work has never been about trends or perfectly curated posts—it’s about people, connection, and the joy of celebrating love in all its forms.
