A Perfect Day at Vue on Halcyon in the Yarra Valley

As a wedding celebrant, I have the privilege of witnessing countless love stories and beautiful celebrations, and Tilly and Rhys’ wedding at Vue on Halcyon in the Yarra Valley was certainly one of those wonderful occasions.

From the moment I met this delightful couple, I knew their wedding day would be filled with joy, love, and unforgettable moments

The Venue: Vue on Halcyon Chapel

Vue on Halcyon is renowned for its picturesque setting in the heart of the Yarra Valley, and the chapel on its grounds is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern elegance. The chapel, with its stunning architecture and serene surroundings, provided an intimate atmosphere for Tilly and Rhys’ special day.  

The Ceremony

The ceremony inside the chapel was a heartfelt and moving experience. The chapel’s large windows allowed natural light to pour in, illuminating the space with a soft, warm glow.
Tilly looked absolutely stunning in her gown, and Rhys' face lit up with pure joy as he watched her walk down the aisle.

During the ceremony, I had the honor of sharing Tilly and Rhys’ love story and how a chance encounter on the far side of the world, allowed them to meet. Their journey together has been filled with memorable moments, laughter, and deep affection. Their personalized vows & heartfelt promises were a highlight of the ceremony. 

It was a privilege to stand with them as they made their promises to each other.

Celebrations and Fun

After the ceremony, the celebration continued with a reception filled with laughter, delicious food, and dancing. The team at Vue on Halcyon ensured everything ran smoothly, and the guests were treated to an unforgettable experience. 

As the night progressed, the dance floor was never empty, a testament to the joyful and lively spirit of the day.

Tilly and Rhys’ wedding was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. It was a celebration of not just their love, but also the community of family and friends that surround and support them. As a celebrant, being part of such a special day is incredibly rewarding.
