Fitzroy Gardens wedding

The wedding

Juliet & Lew had their wonderful colourful wedding at Fitzroy Gardens, in the heart of the city.    If you have ever wandered through Fitzroy Gardens, you will see the many beautiful ceremony location options.  When trying to decide which option to chose from, they settled on the more intimate setting, near the "boy and the turtle" fountain.  This beautiful location is a hidden gem within the Gardens.   It is surrounded by lush greenery and is the perfect back drop for the ceremony, hidden away from the passing foot traffic in the Gardens.Couple kissing fitzroy Gardens After spending the day getting ready separately, these two decided to have a "first look".  If you have never heard of a "First Look", it is when the couple decide to spend some time with each other prior to the ceremony.  It's an intimate moment, without an audience.  It can help ease nerves spending time alone and together.  It can also allow you to spend more time with your guests after the ceremony.Bride getting ready for fitzroy gardens weddingBride preparing for fitzroy garden weddingCouple hugging fitzroy gardenFirst Look Fitzroy Gardens Fitzroy Gardens first look Jules & Lew decided to personalise their wedding with beautiful pops of colour.  Their  much loved cat "Vayne" also made a guest appearance.   Although Vayne couldn't make it to the wedding, he was very much a part of the celebrations.  (as a cardboard cutout)Cat at wedding at Fitzroy GardensAfter their lighthearted ceremony, Jules & Lew spend time in the Fitzroy Gardens mingling with their friends.  Then everyone made their way to the reception at the French Saloon for an evening of fun.Bride on aisle Fitzroy GardensWedding ceremony fitzroy GardensCouple kissing fitzroy GardenColourful couple fitzroy GardensGroom & Bride in Fitzroy gardensColourful bride fitzroy GardensBride in Fitzroy Gardenscouple kissing in fitzroy gardensFitzroy Garden city weddingPhoto locations near fitzroy GardensCity Garden Wedding

Review

Wow what an amazing celebrant Fiona is. Jules & I got married in January 2020 but we started planning our wedding almost 2 years ago. We don't have any friends who are married so through our whole time organising the wedding we felt like we didn't know what we were doing. We found Fiona very early on and knew immediately we wanted her for our wedding. She is so talented and friendly, and most of all helpful. Even though we booked her so far ahead of time, she stayed in contact with us and helped us all along the way. We relied on her experience so much - we must have asked her so many questions while we were planning about things that weren't her job that she probably felt like she ought to charge us a wedding planner fee!  But she was always happy to help. And then of course on the day she was absolutely fantastic! It was such a beautiful ceremony and all thanks to the her.It was so personal and relaxed - exactly what we wanted. If you are looking for a very talented celebrant who is friendly and can help you to feel relaxed at your wedding, I cannot recommend Fiona enough.
