Katherine & Andrews beautiful wedding at Heidi
[et_pb_section bb_built="1"][et_pb_row][et_pb_column type="4_4"][et_pb_text]Under the shade of the beautiful old oak tree, friends and family sheltered from the late afternoon sun ready to celebrate Katherine & Andrew's beautiful summer's evening ceremony at Heide Museum of Modern ArtAs Katherine made the finishing touches on getting ready, she was assisted by her wonderful 90 year old Gran, Shirley who lovingly handmade her beautiful dress. A delicate & feminine creation sewn with so much love. With her dress knee length and her hair in an intricate braid and loosely up-styled, the result was very vintage-esque and totally stunning.Katherine looked the picture of elegance as she strolled through the tranquil gardens. On the arm of her very proud father and lead by the soulful sounds of a bagpiper piercing the humid evening, she made an entrance not to be forgotten. Bryan the bagpiper also lead Katherine's mum up the aisle when she got married. The wide grin on Andrew's face says it allThe colour palette on the day was the epitome of summer - beautiful blooms full of pretty oranges and creams. The perfect colour combination with Katherine's sister Fiona's stunning bridesmaid dress.Katherine & Andrew looked so happy and relaxed throughout. They smiled and laughed with their guests while we listened to their relationship story and how Andrew surprised Katherine with a romantic proposal while hiking on Mt Bolton. Somehow he even managed to capture her reaction on camera.Their friend Aimee came forward to read the following passage by James Dillet FreemanMay your marriage bring you all the exquisite excitements a marriage should bring, and may life grant you patience, tolerance, and understanding.May you always need one another — not so much to fill your emptiness as to help you to know your fullness. A mountain needs a valley to be complete. The valley does not make the mountain less, but more. And the valley is more a valley because it has a mountain towering over it. So let it be with you and you. And their friend Glenn read a blessing which he penned specially for the occasion.I recalled some of their greatest memories including their round the world trip for 4 weddings, in 3 different countries, within 4 monthsWhen it was time to exchange their vows, Katherine & Andrew continued in the relaxed manner that had been evident throughout the ceremony. Promising to always love and respect you as we embrace the journey of life together and I know my love for you will continue to growAfter signing their certificates, Katherine & Andrew slipped away for some photos with their photographer Jenna Fahey White whose creative and wonderful eye for great photography shines through in these beautiful memories.Katherine & Andrew really couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful Summer’s evening for their wedding. The light is just perfect for these oh-so pretty photos. The happy couple then rejoined their guest for a reception at the beautiful Cafe Vue at Heide. Food is extremely important to this couple hence the reason they to chose to celebrate their wedding at Heide as Vue de Monde events operate the space here.I love the natural, romantic and relaxed feel of this wedding. Surrounded by family and friends, music and incredible food. Many personal and meaningful touches coupled with lots of laughter and dancing - what more could you want.Thank you Katherine & Andrew for allowing me to share a little snippet of your wonderful day. I wish you both lots of happiness in the years ahead.Thank you Jenna for sharing her fabulous work with us.
