A ceremony in a hidden forest and a party under a TeePee - what a way to get married.
Many of Emma & Will's guests travelled from all over the world to celebrate their wedding, including many of Will's family from the UK, so it was important to them that their big day was relaxed, intimate and welcomingThey wanted their guests to have a really great time and they could not have picked a more perfect venue. Emma's parents live on a beautiful 1970's Spanish Hacienda country property which they are lovingly restoring and Emma and Will could not have imagined getting married any where else but there, making this a very special event..This hardworking, beautiful couple were determined to squeeze as much fun as possible out of their day. And they made their wedding feel like a wedding festival - it was much more than just a one day event. They even set up a campsite for their overseas visitors - but as you will see from the pictures below this was no ordinary campsite.Working together with the lovely Liv, from Hattie & the Bairn to bring together all their wonderful ideas, this celebration fused all the charm of a super stylish garden party with the laid back vibes of a summer fete. When I arrived at the ceremony space, it literally took my breath away. Their very meaningful and romantic ceremony was held against the dramatic backdrop of a cathedral of majestic trees in the property's own private forest. Surrounded by the sounds of nature and the gentle music played by the lovely and super talented Amelia & Ryan from We are Paperhearts.Emma & Will were so excited to have all their friends and family together to share this special time with them. This was a day full of love, happiness and laughter surrounded by all the people they care. There were so many incredible moments about this wedding from their Romantic woodland ceremony, to the incredibly styled reception and dancing the night away and enjoying good times. After a long, stressful yet exciting lead up, Emma told me that the wedding day was the "happiest day of my life". The moment of saying "I do" is one that she will always remember. Emma's advice to anyone getting married is "Don’t be afraid to delegate. You can try and do it all yourself but at some stage you will have no choice but to allow others do things for you… better to get the help sooner rather than later. And don’t be afraid to relax a little about the finer details, that in reality, you won’t even think about after the day. But most importantly… have Fiona as your celebrant!"This was certainly a garden party like no other. It was a wedding that their guests will remember for many years to come.Enjoy looking at all of these beautiful moments captured by Kaz Richards.
