Alice and Laytten decided to have a Phillip Island Wedding

I first met Alice and Laytten a few years ago, under the saddest of circumstances. Their best friend Rachael died very suddenly. And I was the celebrant who helped them with her funeral.I was totally humbled and overwhelmed when they asked me to be their celebrant for their Phillip Island Wedding. Rachael would have been a bridesmaid.After 5 attempts to get married, I finally had the honour of standing beside them to be their celebrant as they became husband and wife. And although Rachael wasn't physically there, she was very much there in spirit. We had a special candle burning to remember her.It's the moments like this, that make this job so much more than just a wedding celebrant.This was one big celebration and was very special to be involved. Bright Light Wedding was there to capture all the fun and excitement.

I don’t even know where to begin to describe how amazing Fiona is at her job. We met Fiona under very sad circumstances when our beautiful best friend Rachael passed away. Looking back we feel Fiona ways brought to us, as she has been an absolute blessing. Not only navigating our way through our loss but also dodging the unknowns of the pandemic Fiona was always there for us. Fiona has honestly gone above and beyond for us,from multiple catch ups to multiple date changes! To the countless emails and phone calls, Fiona you are truely magical. We couldn’t have asked for a better, wiser more loving person to guide us on our journey into marriage. Fiona brought so much energy and positivity to our wedding day, a truely beautiful soul inside and out. Thank you so much Fiona xx
