The Wedding

Aleks & Em live in Queensland but they decided to get married at the beautiful Zonzo Estate Winery, in the Yarra Valley.These two may never have met but amazingly they did.   Their story began when they met on a Top Deck tour bus many years ago.Once Emily and Aleks started chatting, they forgot that there was a bus full of other people around them.     They shared their first kiss in Edinburgh just a few days later and by the end of the trip they there was an attraction that neither of them could deny.   And here they are on their wedding day.Their day was a relaxed and fun occasion.  They incorporated some beautiful rituals including a wine box and love letter ceremony.   Firstly, they had written beautiful love letters to each other.  The private letters conveyed the things they love about each other and what they are looking forward to in their future.  The letters were place in a wine box with a bottle of wine from Zonzo Estate.  I explained to their guests that in a years time on their first wedding anniversary, they will open the box, drink the wine and read the letters.With the help of Alek's parents, they also included a beautiful Serbian tradition of "joining of the hands".  A nod to Alek's Serbian heritage.Josie Lee Photography captured all the special moments from this very special Zonzo Estate Winery Wedding.    Enjoy these stunning images.
