Werribee Mansion wedding
It is easy to see why Courtney & Mitch decided to have their wedding at Werribee Mansion. The venue is steeped in history and the grounds are absolutely stunning. It's an incredible stylish venue that is conveniently located not too far from the city. And looking at these photos, you can see why it was the perfect choice of venue for this beautiful couple .
The Ceremony
A secluded spot, in the manicured gardens was the perfect location for this very special wedding ceremonyCourtney's grandfather George, walked his beautiful granddaughter part of the way down the aisle. Her dad accompanied her the remainder. How special to involve two of the most important men in her life. With Cat Power's "Sea of Love" playing in the background, it was a very special moment.During their ceremony, I recounted to their friends and family stories of how they met. They met one night while out celebrating friends birthdays. But It turns out they had many life crossovers – all the way back to their early high school days. It seems amazing that they hadn’t actually met before.
The Celebration
After an outdoor ceremony in the gardens, guests mingled and relaxed and got to know one another. The couple's top priorities were to have a fun, laid-back celebration. They didn't want their day to be stuffy or too formal, filled with laughter and love. They wanted to have the ceremony and reception in same location to make the day as relaxed as possible. That way, once people arrived, they could really just relax and partying with them - and boy did they party................Anyone considering getting married, should check out these beautiful photos by Elk and Willow to see why they should consider a wedding at Werribee Mansion.
Review
"Where do I even start? Fiona is everything we could ever have wanted. Not only is she organised, efficient, and professional - she’s also warm, kind, caring, funny and so much more. She is able to command a crowd’s attention without being demanding, to break the ice without making you cringe, and most of all she made us feel so loved and special in every single meeting, catch-up, phone call, and throughout the entire ceremony itself. Our friends and family continuously commented on how wonderful she was, and we could not agree more! We should all be so lucky as to have Fiona marry us, we certainly feel like we hit the jackpot"Photographer Jess - Elk & WillowCelebrant: Fiona Garrivan Wedding film - Nathan Kaso weddings Florist - Thrive Flowers and Events
