The Couple

I have known Jeff and Mark for about 15 years.  When they asked me to be their celebrant for their Gum Gully Farm Wedding, I was absolutely overjoyed.Jeff and Mark have been in a relationship for a long time.   But for many years, Marriage was never an option for them.It meant a lot to them that the laws in Australia finally caught up and  their relationship is recognized and they had the right to get married.

The Wedding

It is easy to see why Jeff and Mark choose Gum Gully for their wedding.Gum Gully Farm is a gorgeous rustic farm situated at the foothills of the Dandenong ranges.  It is a family run business and the owners take so much pride and care with every wedding.Luckily, the venue has an incredible chapel which was a lifesaver as it rained all day.   But Jeff and Mark weren't going to let a little rain dampen their spirits on their day.  Inside the chapel, everyone was warm and cosy.There is always a little extra pressure conducting a ceremony for friends, but boy did their guests get involved.   They laughed, cried, were spontaneous and so present.Their lovely photographer Elsa Campbell commented that "Their intimate and heartfelt ceremony will go down as one of my all time favourites".Jeff & Mark's Gum Gully farm wedding will go down as one of my all time favourites too.

Fiona was absolutely Amazing!!!!She was so organised and has such a delightful nature. Her cooperation and interaction with our Photographer, Venue owners and DJ was very professional.After we reluctantly completed a couples survey she sent us she put together our wedding ceremony. When she came to us to read through what she had put together she asked what we would like to change or add. We both agreed it was 100% perfect and no changes required.Fiona had everyone in the Chapel Laughing, Crying, Clapping, Cheering and all felt as they were a part of it and not just watching.Anyone looking for the Best Person in the business look no further than Fiona.
