Portsea Hotel Wedding
It is easy to see why Kat and Dean organised their Portsea Hotel Wedding. They love spending their weekends renovating their house on the Coast. Dean loves to surf. And they both love to walk their dog Bobby on the beach on the Peninsula. So when it came to organising their wedding, the Portsea hotel on the Mornington Peninsula became an obvious choice.I worked with Kat & Dean many times when they worked in the wedding industry as photographers. They have been involved in many weddings and know many industry suppliers. Therefore, I was overwhelmed and humbled when they asked me to Marry them.Covid threw them many curveballs and forced them to postpone their wedding twice. But finally they were able to married on the most perfect Autumn days. Guests were treated to a few unexpected and pleasant surprises, including Kat's very good friend Robbie singing the bride's entrance song - "The Promise". After the ceremony guests were treated to an ice-cream cart, because who doesn't love icecream.Although their much loved dog "Bobbie" couldn't be a part of the celebrations, he played a particularly important part of the ceremony,In short, this was a very special day. One that I was truely honoured to be a part of. I was delighted that Kat and Dean were finally able to have their Portsea Hotel wedding, free of any covid restrictions and with their much loved family and friends. Throughout it all, they have handled it all with grace and humour. It was wonderful to work along side the lovely Perla Photography who captured all the magic of the day. And Turbo 360 who provided the life streaming service for Kat's brother, who was unable to travel from the United States. Here is how the day unfolded, captured by Perla Photography
